WHY LUNA LENA

When I was 1 month pregnant (and didn't know) I got a little sun tattooed on the back of my neck. This little sun meant brighter days for me. It meant all things bright and beautiful. Little did I know that this little sun would come to carry a lot more meaning.

My daughter's name, Eleena, means 'ray of sun, or bright light'.

Luna-The moon, a feminine energy. The moon represents passion, delicacy, is a symbol of time with a 29 day cycle, like a woman's 28 day cycle. In pregnancy, resembles a beautiful growing belly! The moon is beautiful, natural, and shows that even during the dark, there is light and beauty. 

Lena-The sun, a masculine energy is associated with strength, rebirth and power.

The beautiful combination creates the perfect contrast and represents all things that a mother is. Strong, powerful, delicate, passionate, beautiful.
